Q + A

How do I RSVP?

Please RSVP on the wedding website.

What date should I RSVP by?

We kindly ask that you RSVP by August 8th, 2025.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Yes, please visit the "Accommodations" page on our wedding website for more information regarding the preferred room rate at Loews Hotel.

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?

The wedding ceremony and reception will both take place at Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts located at 1601 Broadway Boulevard, Kansas City, Missouri.

Is parking available at your wedding venue?

The Arts District Garage, located underneath Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, will be available for guest self-park. Vehicles can be left overnight.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?

There will not be a shuttle, but for those staying at Loews Hotel, Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts is a one block walk away.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

The attire is Cocktail, which is defined as a semi-formal dress code that is more elegant than everyday wear but less formal than a tuxedo or ball gown. For men, it usually involves a suit, tie and polished shoes, while women may opt for knee-length or midi dresses, jumpsuits or chic separates. Our wedding colors are black and white, but guests are welcome to wear any color(s) of their choosing.

Are plus-ones and children allowed?

We love your kids, but for this occasion, we kindly ask that you leave them at home and enjoy an adults-only evening.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Both! The ceremony will take place outdoors on the Arts District Terrace, an expansive greenspace located on the south side of Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. We'll move inside for the reception at Brandmeyer Great Hall, Kauffman Center's grand lobby that features a four-level glass wall with breathtaking views of the Kansas City skyline.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

The celebration inside Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts will begin immediately following the ceremony.

What will be offered during the reception?

Guests will enjoy a selection of food throughout the evening as well as an open bar. Be sure to save room for late night snacks!

Will there be dancing?

You know it! Widely regarded as the best wedding band in Kansas City, Lost Wax Band, featuring DJ Ashton Martin, will keep the party going and the dance floor hot all night long. Don’t hesitate to bring a back-up pair of dancing shoes!

Where are you registered for wedding gifts?

We are blessed to have a home filled with everything we need, but if you would like to give a gift, please visit the "Registry" page of our wedding website for a few fun things you can help support during our honeymoon.

Is it okay to post wedding photos on social media?

While we ask that you keep your phone silenced and put away during the ceremony, please take all the pictures you want the rest of the evening and post on social media as you would like.

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?

There should be no question that there will be an after-party, so make your babysitting arrangements accordingly. The formal celebration at Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts will conclude at approximately 11:30pm, and details on an after-party will be communicated soon, but it will be within walking distance or a short rideshare trip.

Is anything planned on Sunday, September 14th?

CHIEFS! A Super Bowl rematch between our KC Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles kicks off at Arrowhead Stadium at 3:25pm. We are planning to attend the game, so please let us know if you are as well.
